Simple, Affordable, High-Quality The SurFit Leg system from ITC Manufacturers’ Select is the best non-mechanical locking table leg system for RVs and Boats. This patented steel leg comes with an aluminum table and floor bases that were designed for long lasting use in your RV or Boat. SurFit is a pressure fit system that is easy to assemble and disassemble. Pick from the recessed floor base that hides the post support below the floor for a virtually flush base. Or get the SurFit leg system for surface mount with the floor base above the floor. Use the surface mount if you don’t already have a recessed space in your floor and cannot add one. Installation is easy with six included screws to secure the floor base and six screws you provide to secure the table base to your table top. We do not provide the screws for the table base so you can get the screw type and length best for your top – be sure to measure to ensure screws do not poke through your table top when tightening the table base to your table top. As always when installing new items in your RV or boat be aware of what you are screwing or drilling into. If you do not secure into a sturdy solid surface your table will not preform as needed. Measure and Mark Prepare for your installation by double checking the subfloor that you will be drilling into. Mark the screw positions for the Floor Base and the large, recessed hole if you do not have a recessed space already. 2. Drill Recessed Hole if Needed If you are installing a recessed Floor Base for the first time, be sure you have depth in your floor to support this type of product. The recessed hole needs to be 2.25” wide and 2” deep – use a hole drill to cut this opening. Pre-drill screw holes for Floor Base. If you are replacing an old, recessed base drill new screw holes for the Floor Base for added stability, instead of reusing the previous ones. 3. Screw Floor Base to Floor Screw the Floor Base to the floor using the included screws or source screws that work for your subfloor. The surface and how you connect your Floor Base to it are very important in providing stability to the table. 4. Screw Table Base to Table Mark and pre-drill your table top for the Table Base. We do not supply screws for the Table Base because it is important to measure the depth of your specific table top to ensure you do not drill through the table top surface. Screw the Table Base to your table top, insert leg into base, align the Table Base hole with the leg and press firmly in the center of the table top. SurFit has options that allow for a recessed or surface mounting floor base application. The recessed Floor Base is great for a virtually flush floor base. This base is installed into the floor allowing the leg to insert down into the floor. This does require a hole in the floor. If your unit does not have a pre-drilled hole and you are a DIYer with a hole drill you can easily install this yourself. The Surface Mount Floor Base is a raised floor base and can be screwed to a stable sub-surface and also provides great table support. The SurFit Table Legs are often used in sets of two for balance and stability for larger tables. And a single leg works great for smaller tables.
